what the video all night long was mentioned on facebook
i was hooked from the beginning. I did not really understand
in the beginning why the teacher was showing us this video. When
we were done with the video we all started commenting on the video,
we really didected it and i understood it very well and why the teacher was
presenting this topic to the class. When we where done talking about the video
I was amazed at how much we had gotten out of this video.

What you write about here Melissa is one of the reasons why I like rhetorical analysis - it helps me appreciate how much "work" goes into delivering a message. It also reminds me just how "trained" we are already to simply understand or "feel" someone's argument. The analysis helps me recognize not only how much work goes into delivering a message. It also reminds me how much intellectual work we do whenever we read something, all that brain power that we use without being conscious of even thinking!
